David H. Berman, MD, FACP, FACG 

Dr. David Berman is founder and President of Park Avenue Medical Professionals, a multispecialty medical practice he started in 1994.  Dr. Berman is a practicing gastroenterologist who specializes in the digestive system and its diseases that affect the gastrointestinal tract, which include organs from the mouth to the anus as well as liver disorders. Gastroenterology includes conditions such as hepatitis, peptic ulcer disease, colitis, nutritional problems and irritable bowel syndrome. Dr. Berman performs colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures and provides accurate and thorough care for patients suffering from digestive issues. He attended Chicago Medical School and completed his residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, followed by a fellowship at University of Pittsburgh in gastroenterology, liver transplantation, and liver disease. Dr. Berman is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG).

He just celebrated his 44th wedding anniversary with his wife Debra (a pre-school teacher).  They have four children and grandchildren, two cats and one dog and lives each day to its fullest.
